Amit Cudykier

I build the connections that let healthcare data move, and the businesses that move it.

I was born and raised in Israel in 1990, in a small village on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. My path in technology began in Unit 81 (8153), the elite technological unit of IDF Intelligence, where I led cross-functional engineering teams building one-of-a-kind systems for operational use. It taught me early that the hardest problems get solved by small teams with total ownership.

After my service I joined Intel, coordinating fabrication operations across a $60 million production floor and later moving into data analytics, where a production methodology I conceived and implemented cut materials costs by half a million dollars a year.

In 2015 I moved to the United States, and graduated summa cum laude in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

For more than a decade I have built and led the integrations that move clinical data through American healthcare, for some of the largest provider and payer organizations in the country.

At CVS Health, I engineered interoperability for MinuteClinic on Epic, including a first-of-its-kind real-time claims adjudication interface bridging clinical and financial data. At PreciseMDX, I rose from engineer to Integration Manager, directing interoperability strategy across more than thirty EMR and laboratory partners and delivering a portfolio of over one hundred production interfaces. Today I lead Epic Aura implementations and FHIR data-modernization programs for national clients, while building the ventures below.

I have been part of the Israeli startup ecosystem since before it was fashionable, as an investor in and mentor to many early-stage companies. I back technical founders solving essential, unglamorous problems, and I stay close to the builders long after the check clears.

Away from the terminal I am usually outdoors, hiking or chasing wind on a kiteboard. And I love dogs.
